Amy Adams is the redheaded princess who sings and dances in Enchanted. Adams was born in Italy on August 20, 1974. Her father, a member of the US military, was stationed in Italy for the first few years of Ms. Adams' life. While she was still young, Adams' family moved to Colorado. Being on of seven children, she turned to singing and ballet as an outlet for her energy. Prior to landing big-screen acting roles, Adams worked at the Gap, Hooters, and Chanhassen Dinner Theater. In 1999, Adams hit mainstream with her role in Drop Dead Gorgeous followed by multiple television appearances. Some of Adams other notable acting gigs are Junebug, Serving Sara, Catch Me If You Can, Standing Still, and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Next year, Adams appears in Julie & Julia and also plays Amelia Earhart in Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian.
