Petra Nemcová

With communism being a current newsworthy topic, let me introduce model, Petra Nemcová. Petra was born on June 24, 1979 in the former Czechoslovakia. In 2004, her life dramatically changed when she was severely injured and her photographer, fiance was killed by the tsunami in Thailand. Bouncing back from this disaster, in 2005, Petra founded a charity to help disadvantaged youth: The Happy Hearts Fund. You may have noticed Petra in a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was in the magazine in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006. She also wore only body paint above her waist for a 2007 fashion show. In addition to modeling, she hosts A Model Life on TLC and wrote a book titled, Love Always, Petra.

I really like her! I wanted to post her a while back. I had to dock one point for her PETA offiliation. She is one of those over the top PETA supporters that gets her in trouble with the law quite often.

She's one of those people who lights up a room whenever you see her on tv or in print. Good karma. Plus, she's gorgeous.
