As promised, below are the Honorable Mentions to my Top Ten Biggest Childhood Crushes list. These
ladies all received consideration for inclusion in the top ten, but for one reason
or another, didn’t quite make the cut. I still feel like they deserve a little spotlight. There were a couple who were really close to making the Top Ten and I just couldn't pull the trigger and remove, say, Jennifer Connelly from my list.
Here are eleven other celebrities that I had huge crushes on back in the day with a Then
and Now picture.
Debbie Gibson (Pop star)
Then. What was with that hat she wore all the time?
Tatyana Ali (Fresh Prince of Bel Air)
Then. Other than being hilarious, Fresh Prince of Bel Air had the ultra hot
Ally Sheedy (WarGames, Breakfast Club)
Then. Ally Sheedy feigned interest in hacking and flirted with Mathew
Broderick in WarGames. There was something freaky about her. I liked it.
Miss Elizabeth Hulette (WWF)
Then. Miss Elizabeth was THE wrestling girl back in the day.
Rest in Peace.
Kerri Green (Lucas, Goonies)
Then. Kerri Green feeling pity for lowly Lucas. She also starred in The
Goonies as Andy.
Dana Delaney (China Beach, Exit to Eden)
Then. Why else would I have watched China Beach? On a side note, she makes a
full nude appearance in Exit To Eden. Be forewarned that as punishment for
watching this film you will be forced to see Rosie O'Donnell in full-on
dominatrix gear. I've tried very hard to forget this image. It's a curse.
Nicole Eggert (Blown Away, Baywatch)
Then. Many guys my age fondly recall the B-movie Blown Away featuring Nicole
Eggert as a gorgeous, insatiable, nympho showing on premium cable. We should all
give thanks to the two Coreys for this masterpiece of 90's softcore cheese.
Jami Gertz (Lost Boys, Solarbabies)
Then. Of course the Lost Boys, but how many of you remember Solarbabies.
There's a DVD I need to add to the shelf.
Mia Sara (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Legend)
Then. Who didn't have a thing for Sloane Peterson?
Rosie Perez (White Men Can’t Jump)
Then. Even with that voice, she was the hottest thing going in 1992.
Heather Graham (License to Drive)
Then. Mercedes Lane from License to Drive.
Now. If you haven't seen The Hangover yet, what in the hell are you waiting
