Top 10 Biggest Celebrity Crushes From My Childhood: Alyssa Milano

4—Alyssa Milano (Who’s the Boss?): While the previous two lovely ladies were from personal favorite television shows and movies, Alyssa Milano starred on the absolutely horrible 80’s sitcom Who’s the Boss?. Yes, it’s true; Who’s the Boss? sucked and had nothing on its chief rival: the vastly superior, cooler, and funnier Growing Pains. Wednesday nights in the late 80’s were couch potato awesomeness with Growing Pains, Head of the Class, and Wonder Years. Tuesdays, on the other hand, reeked of raw suckage with Who’s the Boss? and Roseanne. I could have been playing Nintendo games, yet I religiously watched Who’s the Boss? every single week. Why? Because of Sam.
When it came to women, my friends and I seldom agreed. Tastes varied wildly, but Alyssa Milano was one of the few unanimous decisions amongst us. She was hot in every which way we could imagine. Big frizzy hair, pretty face, wore a jean jacket; Alyssa Milano was the perfect girl and universally loved in my class. What other reason could we possibly have to watch Who’s the Boss?? I remember nothing about Who’s the Boss? other than Alyssa Milano was in it. And that the little kid in that show turned out gay. Come on, that one was even more obvious than Rosie O’Donnell. When asked for the hottest chicks on the planet at the time, Alyssa Milano was tops or near the top of every boy’s list—even Corey Haim’s list. They dated in the late 80’s.
Do you want to know another reason I hate Who’s the Boss?? There’s a question mark in the title, which leads to bizarre punctuation issues like the ending of the previous sentence. I always read a double question mark as questioning with exasperation. I’m not exasperated. Well, now I am. To write this entry, I had to deal with MS Word screaming at me anytime I write Who’s the Boss? because I am not ending the sentence after the question mark or I am ending the sentence with a “?.” New rule at zenestex.com: I will never write about a show or movie that has a “?” at the end of the title. It’s just too painful.

Where is she now?
After Who’s the Boss? lasted about four years too long, Alyssa Milano went through a B-movie stage where she felt the need to go topless in every movie she appeared in. Not that I’m complaining. Embrace of the Vampire, Poison Ivy II, Deadly Sins, and Confessions of a Sorority Girl all highlight her attempt to completely shatter her 80’s teeny-bopper image. Yeah, we got it, Sam…I mean Alyssa. She also starred in movies such as Fear, Public Enemies, and the horrendous video game adaptation of Double Dragon. After her mid-90’s softcore porn career fell apart, she returned to television on Melrose Place and Charmed. She also played Eva Savealot on the 1-800-COLLECT commercials. More recently she had a recurring guest role in My Name Is Earl. Alyssa Milano also has a sports apparel line called Touch and she is the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for the United States.

Well her career has nothing in it all that impresses but she is a great looking girl! Good selection!

Hit the nail on the head, but you forgot one major movie. Commando with Arnold Schwartenhiemerneagger. How dare you, Sir. Even with that massive omission, she has been and still is tops on my list.

Can you believe that I've never seen Commando?

Not really a fan of the Who's the Boss? (ugh!) era Alyssa but really liked her softcore days. Didn't really care for Charmed but LOVED watching it just for her. Damn she was/is hot. I'll give her a 9 for now but maybe a 6 for Who's the Boss? timeframe. I agree with the puncutation requirement; I especially liked the "ending the sentence with a '?.'." (How the hell am I supposed the end THAT statement????)

Dead on with this one as well. I can understand the adolescent crush completely. Definitely hotter now and she makes a line of ladies NFL wear. She is even hotter since she is so into football. 8 1/2.
